FLIGHT SAFETY OFFICER 

The flight safety officer will be managed and will report to the Compliance and Safety Manager.  

You will have as main mission to manage the day-to-day operation of the safety Management System of the various aeronautical companies (ASTONJET, ASTONFLY, ASTONTEC and ASTONSKY) of the group. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

For this position, your missions will be:  

  • Lead the development and management of Flight Safety Manuals and Safety Management Systems (SMS). 
  • Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. 
  • Analyze incident/accident reports, identifying trends and recommending preventive measures. 
  • Facilitate safety training programs for aircrew and ground personnel. 
  • Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to integrate safety considerations in all phases of flight operations. 
  • Amend manuals and operational procedures in line with current regulations, 
  • Participate in safety communication actions. 

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS 

You have at least a Bachelor degree, a first experience in the field of quality. Experience in a similar function in the aeronautical field (CAMO, ATO, Part 145, AOC) would be a plus.
